Album Info:The BNSF Inter-modal & Logistics Park is scheduled to open this fall (2013) after 10 years of planning and development. Located at Gardner, KS, the total project covers 1200 acres, 430 of which are track and switches. The 2 mile long facility will have 5 electric cranes rising 9 stories tall and spanning 253 feet of tracks and service roads capable of straddling 6 trains at once. With 80 men operating each crane, they can unload 1000 containers per day. One of the tenants, DeLong Co., will fill empty containers with grain for a reverse trip to the west coast for export.

West Entrance
